SPASO-TRANSFORMATION CHURCH IN CHASHNIKI

The Church of the Transformation of the Savior was built in 1843-1845. at the expense of Ignatius Volodkovich. It is an architectural monument of classicism.

The interior of the Church of the Transformation is decorated with murals, in which the scales of the figures and perspective angles are precisely observed. In the dome there are images of Hosts on the throne and 12 apostles, on the sails - evangelists, in the altar - the scene of "Theophany", on the walls - the gospel cycle. In the temple there are icons of the XVIII-XIX centuries "Mother of God Hodegetria", "Baptism" and others.
